Prior to the Competition
1)   Payment of the registration fee(s) will guarantee a place in the tournament (s) selected by the player.
2)   Email confirmation of participation will be sent by The Ultimate Poker Tour Ltd within 24hours of payment of registration fee (If you have not received your confirmation email within 24 hours please contact our customer services hotline on 0871 989 9145.  All calls answered by our UK based operators.  You will also receive your unique The Ultimate Poker Tour player ID number.
3) a) Where a venue and or date has yet to be confirmed e.g. you have selected Birmingham as a location but there is no date or venue specified an email will be sent guaranteeing a place at the selected tournament after notification of payment details or receipt of payment by cheque.
  b) Once the venue or date or both have been confirmed then this will be advised to the player as soon as possible but in any event not less than 28 days (4 weeks) from the tournament date.  A player has 72 hours from receipt of confirmation of the event date to cancel his/her participation of the event.  Please contact our customer services hotline and a full refund will be made of any stake money paid.
4)   If a player wishes to cancel his/her participation of an event please email or call customer services as soon as possible.  Registration fees are non refundable.  Stake monies can be transferred to other The Ultimate Poker Tour Events.

Attendance at Competition
1)   Players should arrive prior to the start time.  Every effort will be made to accommodate players who are late but these player’s blinds will be posted for them once the tournament has started.  Please call the customer services number as soon as possible if you become aware that you will be late.
2)   Players will be allocated their Start table by the registration desk.  This will be done on a random basis.
3)   Players will be required to produce a form of photographic ID (passport, driving licence or any identification carrying the PASS logo eg: Citizencard or Validate) to confirm their entry details.
4)   Approx 5 minutes before the tournament starts the players will be guided to their Start table by a member of the registration team.  The player must go immediately to the table and take their allocated seat.
5)   Play will commence when the dealer at the Start table has been instructed to commence by the Tournament Director.

Play
1)   The dealer will allocate the dealer button on the basis of the highest card from one card for each player and suit preference Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs if there is a tie.
2)   The dealer will allocate to each player at the Start table £10,000 TUPT (The Ultimate Poker Tour) chips.  All chips must remain at the table at all times and no chips must be removed from the table at any time or for any reason.  Except where a player is requested to move or a table is broken down.
3)   The dealer will invite the small blind and the big blind to place their blinds and play will commence.
4)   Players will be expected to decide their action within 1 minute.  At a player’s discretion a clock can be requested and a player will have a final 30 seconds to decide his/her call.  If no decision is received after this, the player will be deemed to have folded.  All decisions in this matter are the dealers and all players accept by participation in the competition the right of the dealer to decide all playing matters in the tournament.
5)   If a player is knocked out (i.e. loses all his/her chips) then they should make their way to the registration desk and hand in the elimination card issued to them by the dealer.  This will be used to allocate points on the The Ultimate Poker Tour Extravaganza.

General
1)   The tournaments and the events surrounding the tournaments may be recorded and be filmed by the Ultimate Poker Tour Ltd.  Any player who does not wish to appear in any footage must advise the registration desk of this requirement.  Consent to film is assumed unless player advises customer services or at the registration desk prior to event.
2   No player will be admitted to the tournament who is drunk or who appears to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.  Decisions in this matter at the sole discretion of the tournament management.
3   No insulting or abusive behavior will be tolerated from any player.  Players who persist with such behavior will be asked to leave the tournament.
4   Any attempt to cheat, collude or manipulate the result of the tournament will result in the immediate ejection of the player and the forfeit of any monies paid or won.
5   The management has the right at any time to request a player to leave the tournament if the management believe the continued presence of the player is detrimental to the efficient and congenial atmosphere of the tournament.
6   If for whatever reason The Ultimate Poker Tour Ltd cancels or postpones an event then all participants will be entitled to a full refund of any monies paid.
7   The Ultimate Poker Tour Ltd reserves the right at its sole discretion to adjust levels of prize money. 
8   The competition is not open to employees of The Ultimate Poker Tour.

Prize Money
1   All prize money will be paid to the winner.
2   The Ultimate Poker Tour will pay out all prizes in sterling.
